Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari is a classic Telugu fantasy film that was released in 1990. Directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and produced by C. Ashwini Dutt under the Vyjayanthi Movies banner, the film is one of the most beloved movies in Telugu cinema history. It combines elements of fantasy, romance, action, and comedy, making it a timeless favourite among audiences.

The story revolves around a mortal man and a celestial being, blending mythology with a modern-day setting. Raju (played by Chiranjeevi) is a kind-hearted tour guide who looks after four orphaned children. He is struggling to make ends meet but remains cheerful and dedicated to the kids under his care. Indraja (played by Sridevi) is a celestial being, the daughter of Lord Indra, who accidentally drops a divine ring on Earth. This ring grants extraordinary powers to its bearer. In her quest to retrieve it, Indraja descends to Earth, where she meets Raju. The story takes a turn when Raju finds the ring, unaware of its divine origins. The ring grants him incredible powers, which he uses to help others.

The main villain, portrayed by Amrish Puri, is an evil sorcerer who seeks the ring for his own nefarious purposes. His desire to possess the ring sets the stage for a classic good vs. evil showdown.

As Raju and Indraja spend time together, they develop feelings for each other. However, their love story is complicated by the fact that Indraja belongs to a different realm, and her time on Earth is limited.

The film culminates in an epic battle between Raju, with his newfound powers, and the villain, with Indraja's fate hanging in the balance. The story concludes with a mix of fantasy and emotion, leaving a lasting impact on the audience.
