Lovely Runner is a 2024 South Korean television series
that has garnered significant attention globally for its unique blend of
romance, drama, and fantasy. The series is based on the web novel "The
Best of Tomorrow" by Kim Bbang and was directed by Kim Tae Yeop and Yoon
Jong Ho. It is produced by Bon Factory.
The series follows Im Sol, a devoted fan of K-pop idol
Ryu Sun-jae, who unexpectedly dies. Im Sol gets a chance to travel back in time
to 2008, when Sun-jae was 19 years old, and she becomes determined to save his
life and possibly find love along the way.
The main cast includes Byeon Woo-seok as Ryu Sun-jae, Kim
Hye-yoon as Im Sol, Song Geon-hee as Kim Tae-sung, and Lee Seung-hyub as Bae
In-hyuk.
The series originally aired on tvN from April 8 to May 28, 2024. It was later made available for streaming on various platforms including Netflix in selected regions. Overall a feel good series.
