Needhikku Thalaivanangu  is a 1976 Indian Tamil film directed by Pa.Neelakandhan, starring M. G. Ramachandran in the lead role and Latha, S. Varalakshmi and M. N. Nambiar.

It is the movie about the theme of the redemption, the subject that MGR adores handling.
From the middle of the 1970s, MGR attacked on the problem of the speed and the dangers which ensue from it.

The story (by Mannava Balayya) which tells NEEDHIKKU THALAIVANANGU can look like by moment a French work, of a novel in the 19th century entitled LES MYSTERES DE PARIS (1842-1843) by Eugène Sue.
This movie is 17th and last staged by the great director Pa.Neelakandhan for MGR.
